Monthly Hypnotherapy Workshops

Experience It. Practice It. Build Real Confidence.

Reading about hypnosis is one thing.

Watching it happen is another.

Actually experiencing it yourself and practicing it with feedback is where real confidence begins.

That's why I created these monthly workshops.

Each workshop focuses on a specific skill, technique, or intervention and is designed to help you move beyond theory into practical application.

Whether you're working through my self-paced training, trained elsewhere, or simply looking to expand your clinical skills, these workshops provide a supportive environment to deepen your understanding and build confidence.

Why Workshops?

One of the challenges of learning hypnotherapy online is that you don't always have opportunities to experience techniques yourself or practice them before using them with volunteers and clients.

These workshops help bridge that gap.

You'll have the opportunity to:

• Watch techniques demonstrated live

• Experience the techniques yourself

• Practice with other participants

• Receive feedback in a supportive environment

• Ask questions throughout the workshop

• Build confidence before using new techniques with clients

something very different about reading about an induction compared with actually giving one.

Or experiencing one.

Or watching someone else work through it.

That's where the learning really comes alive.

Workshop Topics

Every month we'll explore a different aspect of hypnotherapy.

We'll begin with foundational skills that every hypnotherapist uses regularly and gradually work toward more advanced interventions and clinical strategies.

Topics may include:

• Building rapport

• The first five minutes of a session

• Desensitize and Center

• Inductions

• Deepeners

• Age Regression

• Parts Work

• Future Pacing

• Hypnotic Arguments

• Clinical thinking

• Working with resistance

• And much more.

Because the workshops are live, participants are also invited to suggest future topics.

If enough people are interested in a particular technique or intervention, I'll do my best to include it in an upcoming workshop.

What You'll Receive

Every workshop includes:

✔ Live instruction

✔ Demonstrations

✔ Guided practice

✔ Partner exercises (when appropriate)

✔ Questions and discussion

✔ Workshop recording

✔ Teaching notes

✔ Additional resources

You'll continue to have access to the recordings and teaching materials so you can revisit the workshop whenever you need a refresher.

Who Are These Workshops For?

These workshops are perfect for:

• Students working through the Whole Brain Hypnotherapy Training

• Graduates wanting to continue developing their skills

• Hypnotherapists trained elsewhere

AI as Your Hypnotherapy Assistant

How to Use AI Ethically, Save Time, and Strengthen Your Session Preparation Without Handing Over the Thinking

Sunday, August 23, 2026
12:00 to 4:00 p.m. Pacific Time
Live on Zoom with recording included

AI can be an incredibly useful assistant when you are preparing hypnosis sessions, especially when you are still learning and it takes hours to organize consultation notes, develop theories, choose interventions, and write strong hypnotic arguments.

It can also create generic, impersonal sessions that sound as though they were written by a machine.

The difference comes down to how you use it.

This workshop will show you how to use AI ethically and responsibly as a support in your session preparation without allowing it to take over the thinking that belongs to you as the hypnotherapist.

You remain responsible for every idea, every intervention, every hypnotic argument, and every word you deliver to your client.

AI can help you organize the information, explore possibilities, develop your ideas, and shorten the writing process.

You still need to understand the client, make the decisions, and know why each part of the session is there.

Why I Am Teaching This Workshop

When I began writing personalized hypnosis sessions, it could take me five or six hours to prepare one session.

Sometimes it took even longer.

I reviewed consultation notes, searched through books, researched the client’s concerns, considered different theories, developed hypnotic arguments, and rewrote sections until the whole session made sense.

That work taught me how to think as a hypnotherapist.

Students still need to develop that skill.

At the same time, they now have access to tools that can help with some of the research, organization,

and early drafting that used to take many hours.

The answer is not to ignore AI or pretend students are not using it.

The answer is to teach students how to use it properly.

When AI is used carelessly, it can produce shallow sessions filled with generic suggestions, unsupported assumptions, and language the client would never use.

When it is trained properly and used with clear boundaries, it can become a useful assistant that helps you work through client material while keeping your own thinking at the center of the process.

What You Will Learn

During this workshop, I will show you how to use AI to support different parts of your session preparation, including:

  • Organizing client material and identifying important patterns

  • Exploring possible theories and intervention ideas

  • Developing stronger hypnotic arguments

  • Writing thoughtful sessions that use the client’s language and do not sound as though they were written by AI

  • Reviewing and improving material you have already written

  • Using AI without handing over your professional thinking

  • Protecting client confidentiality while receiving useful support

  • Recognizing when AI has misunderstood, assumed, or added information

  • Remaining responsible for every idea, intervention, and word you deliver

You will also learn how to train your AI assistant to understand your preferred structure, language, approach, and expectations so that the support it provides becomes more useful over time.

Live Demonstration and Practice

I will demonstrate how to use AI during session preparation and show you the difference between asking AI to

write a hypnosis script and training it to support a skilled hypnotherapist.

You will also have opportunities to practice using AI during the workshop, ask questions, and work through examples with guidance.

This is not a workshop about pressing a button and allowing AI to do the work for you.

It is about learning how to use a powerful tool responsibly so you can spend less time staring at a blank page

and more time thinking clearly about what your client actually needs.

Who This Workshop Is For

This workshop is designed for:

  • Hypnotherapy students beginning client work

  • New practitioners who spend many hours preparing sessions

  • Experienced hypnotherapists who want to use AI more effectively

  • Practitioners who already use AI but want clearer ethical boundaries

  • Anyone who wants to save time without losing depth, personalization, or responsibility

You do not need to be experienced with AI to attend. I will guide you through the process and give you a practical framework you can continue using after the workshop.

AI can be a powerful assistant.

You remain the hypnotherapist.

The Art of the Consultation

From Questions to Clinical Direction

Two-Day Live Online Workshop
Sundays, September 13 & 20
2:00–8:30 PM Pacific Time
$597 CAD

A good hypnotherapy consultation is much more than asking a list of questions.

It is where you begin to understand the person sitting in front of you.

What is actually happening for them?

When did it begin?

What experiences, beliefs, associations, or protective responses might be involved?

What does their subconscious appear to have learned?

And what information will you need if you are going to create hypnosis that is specific to this person and this goal?

The consultation is also your first opportunity to build rapport, establish trust, and determine whether you and the client are a good fit.

But there is another piece that is especially important.

The consultation is where you begin thinking like a hypnotherapist.

You are listening for clues.

You are deciding which answers matter.

You are noticing connections.

You are figuring out what you still need to know.

And while the client is telling you their story, you are already beginning to formulate the direction you may take in hypnosis.

That is what this two-day workshop is designed to teach.

Day One: Understanding What Is Going On

On the first day, we will focus on the questions that help you understand what may be happening beneath the surface of the client's presenting concern.

We will look at what to ask, what you are listening for in the answers, when to follow something further, and how to begin identifying the events, associations, beliefs, messages, and protective responses that may be contributing to what is happening now.

You will also watch me conduct a consultation with a real client working on a real goal.

But you won't only see what I ask.

I'll take you behind the consultation and explain my thinking process.

I'll show you what I noticed, why certain answers caught my attention, what made me ask a follow-up question, what I chose not to pursue, and how I began putting the pieces together.

Then it will be your turn.

You will work with another student and role-play consultations so you can practice using this first set of questions and begin developing the skill of listening for the information behind the answers.

Day Two: Gathering What You Need to Create the Work

Understanding why something is happening is only part of the consultation.

You also need the information that will help you do something useful with what you've discovered.

On the second day, we will look at the questions that help you gather the specific information you may need to address the client's goal in hypnosis.

Then you will be paired with another student and conduct a complete consultation using both sets of questions.

This time it won't be a role-play.

You and your partner will each bring an appropriate real-life goal to work on.

You will take turns being practitioner and client, giving you the opportunity to experience the consultation from both sides.

I will observe the practice consultations, answer questions, and provide feedback to help you strengthen not only the questions you ask, but the way you listen, follow the information, and think about what you are hearing.

This Is About More Than Learning the Right Questions

You can give two hypnotherapists exactly the same consultation form and get two very different consultations.

The difference is in the thinking.

A question is only useful if you understand why you're asking it and what to do with the answer.

By the end of these two days, I want you to have a much clearer understanding of how to use a consultation to move from:

What does my client want help with?

to:

What may be driving this response, what information do I need, and where might I take the work from here?

What You'll Experience

During this two-day workshop, you will:

  • Learn the consultation questions I use to understand what may be happening for a client on a subconscious level

  • Learn the questions that help gather the information needed to address the client's goal

  • Watch me conduct a real consultation with a real client

  • Hear my thinking process behind the questions, follow-ups, and connections I make

  • Practice a consultation through role-play

  • Conduct a complete consultation with a partner around a real goal

  • Experience being the client during your partner's consultation

  • Receive observation, guidance, and feedback on your work

  • Have opportunities to ask questions throughout both days

  • Receive recordings of the workshop for future review

Knowing what to ask is important.

Knowing why you're asking, what you're listening for, and what to do with the answer is where the real skill begins.
