The self-paced training gives you the freedom to learn around your work, family, and other commitments.
Your private session gives us the chance to focus entirely on you.
We can use the hour to talk about your goals, answer questions, create a plan for moving through the training, or give you personal support with something you encounter once you begin.
How We Can Use Your Private Session
Your session may include:
• Talking about what brought you to hypnotherapy
• Clarifying your personal or professional goals
• Creating a plan for moving through the course
• Answering questions about the curriculum
• Discussing professional association requirements
• Reviewing previous hypnosis training or experience
• Exploring a concept from the course in more detail
• Demonstrating a technique
• Helping you decide which live events or support options may suit you
• Preparing for the practical portions of the training
You do not need to use your session immediately.
You can begin the course, become familiar with the material, and book your private hour when you have questions or would benefit from more personal guidance.
The complimentary session must be used within your first 90 days of training.
Self-Paced Does Not Mean You Are On Your Own
One of the greatest advantages of online training is flexibility.
You can move through the course at your own pace without having to attend a class at the same time every week.
But flexibility should not mean being handed a login and expected to figure everything out alone.
The Horizon Center training includes:
• Detailed course lessons
• Demonstrations of hypnosis techniques
• Assignments with personal feedback from me
• Consultation and session examples
• Volunteer practice requirements
• ABC chart and session-planning instruction
• Training in personalized hypnotic arguments
• Support learning how to adjust when a session does not go as expected
Students may also choose from additional live learning opportunities, including workshops, Ask Me Anything sessions, Inside the Session, supervised practice, memberships, and private instruction.

About the Training
The Horizon Center training teaches you more than how to read hypnosis scripts.
You will learn how to listen carefully, understand what may be driving a client’s current response, and build personalized sessions using the information the client gives you.
You will learn why techniques work, how to decide what may be useful, and how to adapt when the work takes an unexpected turn.
The goal is to help you develop the understanding and practical skills needed to think like a hypnotherapist.
