Why Coaches Are Adding Hypnotherapy Training to Their Practice
If you are a coach you already know how to help someone identify what they want and create a plan to get there.
You are good at it. Your clients make progress. They set goals, take action, build momentum. The work you do with them is real and it matters.
And then some of them hit a wall.
Not because they don't want it badly enough. Not because the plan is wrong. Not because they need a better strategy or a stronger morning routine or a different accountability structure.
Because something underneath is pulling in the opposite direction.
You can see it. You have probably named it with them. The self sabotage. The pattern of getting close and then backing off. The belief that shows up every time they are about to break through and quietly talks them out of it. The block that no amount of action planning seems to move.
This is where coaching reaches its natural edge. And it is not a failure of coaching. It is simply the boundary between the conscious and the subconscious mind.
Where the block actually lives
Coaching works at the level of conscious intention. What do you want, what will you do, how will you get there. And that is genuinely powerful for clients who are ready to move.
But when a client is blocked it is almost never a conscious problem.
The block lives in the subconscious. It formed there, it runs from there, and it will not shift no matter how many action steps you assign until someone goes there and addresses it directly.
Here is what is actually happening when a coaching client keeps hitting the same wall.
The subconscious mind runs 90 to 95% of behavior. It stores every experience a person has ever had and it operates by association. At some point in that client's history their subconscious made a decision. Maybe it decided that success was dangerous. That being visible invited criticism. That having more meant someone else had less. That they didn't deserve what they were reaching for.
That decision made complete sense at the time it was formed. It was the subconscious doing exactly what it was built to do, protecting the person from something that felt threatening.
But the subconscious doesn't update on its own. It doesn't know that the threat is no longer current. It is still running the same protective program it developed years or decades ago. And every time your client gets close to breaking through, the subconscious pulls them back.
That is not resistance. That is loyalty. The subconscious is fiercely loyal to the programs it has formed.
And the only way to change those programs is to go to where they live.
What hypnotherapy training gives you
When you combine coaching skills with hypnotherapy training you stop working around the block and start working with the part of the mind that created it.
You will learn how to access the subconscious mind and find out what is actually driving a client's pattern. Where it started, what the subconscious decided at that moment, and what it needs to understand in order to update that decision.
You will learn how to build sessions that address the root cause of a block rather than its surface expression. How to work with both the conscious and subconscious mind simultaneously so that the insights your client develops consciously actually land at the level where behavior is generated.
And you will learn to move from helping your clients take different actions to helping them become someone for whom those actions feel natural and possible.
That is a completely different conversation. And it changes everything about the results you can offer.
Your coaching skills are an asset here
It is worth saying that everything you have developed as a coach transfers directly into this work.
Your ability to hold someone accountable. Your skill at asking powerful questions. Your understanding of goal setting and what it takes to create sustainable change. Your rapport with clients and your ability to keep them focused on what they are moving toward.
All of that becomes more powerful when you add the ability to go beneath the surface and address what has been blocking the path.
Hypnotherapy training does not replace your coaching methodology. It gives it somewhere deeper to go.
This training is self paced
This hypnotherapy training is fully self paced, which means you can move through the material on your own schedule without disrupting your existing coaching practice. There are no fixed class times or cohorts to keep up with. Just a structured curriculum you can work through in a way that fits your life.
If you want to go deeper, there is also an optional live component where you can observe real hypnotherapy sessions and receive one on one mentoring. But the core training stands completely on its own.
